Thorbis operates a service-related text messaging program on behalf of the service businesses that use our platform (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other field service contractors). When a customer provides their mobile number to a Thorbis-powered service business and consents to receive text messages, they may receive automated texts from that business through the Thorbis platform. Message types include: appointment reminders, technician arrival and ETA updates, and booking or service confirmations. These messages are sent to help customers stay informed about the services they have requested — not for marketing or promotional offers.
2. Message frequency
Message frequency varies and depends on the number of active service appointments or requests you have with a Thorbis-powered service business. You may receive multiple messages per service visit (e.g., appointment confirmation, technician en route, and arrival notice). You will not receive unsolicited promotional messages through this program.
3. Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier may charge standard message and data rates for text messages sent and received. Thorbis does not charge any additional fees for text messages.
4. How to opt out (STOP)
You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive. After opting out you will receive a one-time confirmation message and no further texts will be sent to your number. If you want to re-subscribe, text START to the number from which you received messages. You may also contact the service business directly or reach Thorbis support at support@thorbis.com to request removal.

6. Privacy & data handling
Your mobile phone number and opt-in consent information are collected and stored securely by Thorbis. Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We may share your number with our telephony service providers solely to deliver the text messages you have consented to receive. This messaging program is supported by all major US wireless carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, and others. Thorbis is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
